Private Security Contractors

I like the show, watching Season 2 now. But morally I can not ignore that fact that it depicts exactly what is going wrong with America. The intermingle of private and public interests. The Lightman group is a for-profit corporation, sucking up huge amounts of tax payer money in probably secret no-bid contracts, acting as a private security/surveillance contractor and captures state and government functions. The kind of power and influence the Lightman people get on a regular basis is just scary. Imagine they are called Halliburton Group and would do all what they do. Sure the Lightmans are 'good' people, but the system that is depicted in this show and how they operate is just so wrong, it stinks of corruption and dismantlement of the constitution and feels like the beginning of corporate fascism.
