Saw it last week - I totally agree - a really good film, from the slow but uplifting piano music, to the small-talk of village life, to the sadness of the seemingly inevitable changes to their community, all beautifully shot at close quarters, but apparently with little interference.

Tender & true.

As someone who has the luck to live in Wales I REALLY loved this film. They really captured the essence of life in the rather remote communities where the environment is such a dominant part of life and relationships within the comunities become so much part of living. Have spent four years trying to learn the language and am only half way there. Language is so important in this part of the world but the welsh have a wonderful tolerance for people who are willing to embrace life here. To slow down a pace or two but to really working at everyday living instead of accumulating! Suppose the message in the film was that this will probably all end but part of me thinks we are not living in the past but rather in the future. When we will find that community is one of the really important ways of survival. Thanks to all who were involved in this remarkable little film. Diolch yn fawr
