Aphex Twin

How many people are going to see this purely due to Richard D. James' (Aphex Twin) soundtrack?

I've just seen the film (out on DVD now in the UK) and it's quite lovely even apart from the Aphex Twin soundtrack. Most of what's used is from DrukQs (all the instrumental piano music, nothing electronic) and also one song each off I Care Because You Do and SAW II. Gorgeous film, and RDJ's music goes great with it - I hope it has proper distribution in the U.S. someday. I'm a United Statesian myself, I imported the DVD.

His name on the DVD cover first caught my attention, then I was damn sure I should buy it because of the Wales subject -- I have a sort of middle-and-north-UK complex.

At first I assumed the film was special enough to be accompanied by Aphex Twin's original score, but it's also surprising to find the selected works from his previous albums went incredibly well with the film itself. At least I never thought of Wales when I listened to "Drukqs"...
