Haha...yeah, the sanitarium is REALLY long...I mean, just looking at the basement on the map for the first time, I got scared. Lol.

But if you stick to it...maybe an hour and a half. At the most. There are a few dead-ends, so watch out for them.

definetely the freakiest part of the game, just wait till you reach the boss!!

That boss rocked lol. You know the only thing that ruined Silent Hill 3 for me were the dull bosses, minus the worm in the mall of course that was well done but the rest of them were just people pretty much, no monsters, it was very uninmagitative.

I'd say the sanitarium and the theater are the creepiest parts of this game. The sanitarium part is LONG especially since you have to go back and forth between the nightmare world and the regular world to be able to access certain stairwells and pathways. I've beat SHO once and I'm playing it again a second time to see what all I can unlock. It's a damn good addition to the SH universe, in my opinion, and the first time I played it, I was playing in a PITCH-BLACK room, with headphones on and I tell you - I about crapped a brick!!!! I hope Konami/Climax makes another Silent Hill adventure for the PSP. It was pretty good.

Finshed it and loved it, EXCEPT, the last boss, what on earth was that?! Looked like it belonged in some crappy monster fantasy game or something.

My favorite location in ALL the Silent Hill games is the theater! Something about a "haunted" theater....ooooh...scarrryyyyyy!

As far as fave location in the game, i'd have to go with the motel complex. Finding out the truth about what happened to Travis' father, looking through the peepholes in the rooms and all those pictures you'd find scattered around. Not to mention those hunchback monster things. Good stuff.

The marionette-esque monsters in the Arnaud theater were kinda cool though. Annoying, but cool. And yeah there was something about roaming a haunted derelict theater that was neat.
