I really liked it

Just finished it. I enjoyed it a lot! The puzzles were fun to solve and I quite welcomed the weapon degradation system. My only problem was that the game was a little too easy. Maybe I saved too much ammo but towards the end I had a ridiculous amount. I did all the bosses first go.

Another thing, I must say that Travis Grady has to be one of the most tragic characters in the series. I actually felt really sorry for him the more I learnt about his horrible childhood.

Silent Hill 2 was the easiest for me.

In Origins the common enemies were harder than the boss ones. I found this one a bit harder than the others because of the fact that enemies chase you and sometimes even gang up on you. They don't give you many bullets either.

Silent Hill 4 was hardest because of ememies you couldn't kill or get rid of until later in the game (ghosts). But oh god when I had to take care of Eileen I was screaming at the TV every 5 minutes! Sometimes it's best just to try and leave her somewhere. And my advice is DO NOT give her a weapon! She tends to run more and not get in stupid fights with unkillable enemies when she is unarmed. Come to think of it she also kept up with me better.

Travis is pretty awesome. Every time I see a semi on the road, I have to think about this game. And I'm not sure if anyone else had this problem, but right at the end, when Alessa warped the town to the Otherworld and you were on your way to the final boss, I couldn't find the path to it for about ten minutes! I kept looking at the map, and it claimed that it was a straight shot.

Then I realized after ten minutes of raging at the television that you had to do this weird zig-zag type thing to get on the path. That was the only thing that annoyed me about this game, really.

Also, you can't help but love the fact that you get a TOASTER as a weapon! Too bad it's kind of a one-time use thing :[
