I've seen the original and the remake I like both but I prefer the original. The one I really did NOT like was Robocop 2.

Compared to this flop, Robocop 2 is a masterpiece. Sure, it isn't as scathing a social commentary as the first, nor is it as visually stunning as the remake, though it has some intriguing dark humor, and lovely character moments. . . Robocop 2 has heart and balls, elevating it into the same league as the first. The only thing the remake will ever elevate are titles piled on top in the Walmart bargain bins.

I disagree. IMO RoboCop remake is a masterpiece compared to RoboCop 2.

RoboCop 2 is way better than the RoboCop remake.

Cain was a wicked villian.

You guys are all insane, I absolutely loath remakes, but there is absolutely no way I'm going to lower myself to fraudulence by claiming Robocop 2 is better than the remake.

I can troll my hatred for remakes honestly.

If we're talking straight action movies, then I'd have to agree that RoboCop 2 is better than the remake, which sports both a bland setting and poorly developed sci-fi themes.
