Am I the only one who enjoyed this movie?

This movie seems to get a whole lot of hate and I don't get it. Yes, realistically this could never happen N.Korea blah blah blah, but it's a movie. It is supposed to entertain, not be %100 fact based and "OMG DIS COULD HAPEN!1!!1". I personally really liked it, so tell me why you did/n't like it

Yes. The rest of the World thought it was *beep*

Actually my son enjoyed it but he is only 12 so maybe this movie is best suited to children.

Is she the one with all that *beep* in her face? No man, thats my wife!

I loved it and I had a great time with it. People underestimate other countries...granted N Korea isn't a strong country but what if it happened? I would fight just like these kids...I thought it was awesome.

I just kept asking and the question nagged me how did they have all this technology to invade the US yet not a stitch of tech to find these kids hiding in a building across the street. Doesn't the N Korean Army have eyes? *beep* some kind of sophisticated surveillance! Anyways that's the only thing that bothered me.

The Russians were the ones with most of the technologies that handled the invasion whereas the North Koreans were just a supporting ally to handle the Pacific Northwest, which isn't as populated as the Eastern seaboard or California. Most of the North Koreans were infantry based units with some lightly armored vehicles and perhaps those Humvees were captured as they did have the American flag pained on them but had that red sticker on top and had M2 50 cal guns. Besides the communication device, they didn't have much advanced technology besides some NVGs for some units and probably didn't have the IR equipment like the Russians have or even if they had them, probably didn't have as advanced equipment. The wolverines were good at blending in so it would be harder to spot them. As for surveillance, they could have set up various cameras and what not, though that would take some time to set them up and the Wolverines would either find gaps in them and find other ways to get around them and neutralize them.

As for the North Korean soldiers spotting them visually, I will agree that they would be more vigilant and would have noticed them more after the first few attacks and wouldn't be as dumbfounded as they were portrayed in the movie. However as Jed mentioned in the film, those soldiers probably were conscripts and draftees and not trained to handle insurgencies and deal with spotting suspicious threats and attackers. they're probably only trained to follow orders and not have much initiative.

it's actually easier to hide in plain sight than it is to hide away from the enemy. they won't be looking on their doorstep, they'll be sweeping outwards from their headquarters to find you.

I liked it. I liked how it was different then the original just like with The Poseidon Adventure and Poseidon. You couldn't really compare them because besides the characters, only a small part is the same in both. The deaths in the original were a lot sadder.

So what was awful? Can't just say something without a reason.
