Was forced to endure this on an intercity coach bus in mexico...

...but found several moments interesting. At one point, one of the teenage resisters makes a little speech and says, "To them this is just another place on a map, but to us it's home." I thought, gee, that could, be an Iraqi kid who's just about to join the insurgency.
In another scene, the little scamps rig up an IED using a skateboard. I guess we're supposed to cheer when they use it to blow something up. But we've all seen or read news stories of US soldiers killed or maimed by such devices.
Maybe one reason this movie didn't do nearly as well as the original is the subconscious awareness that WE'RE the invaders and if invaders get what they deserve from those they invade, well...

Not to mention that the only reason "it's our home" is because they invaded someone else's country and eliminated all but a few of the indigenous people.
Then they get all patriotic when someone tries to do the same to them.
