Duran Duran, ironically the first MTV created band, does not reach generation Y. Their music will fade with generation X.

Ah, but did you not think Roger was correct when he said Duran Duran was good coke music? The band was huge during a period (the 80s) when powdered cocaine was seen as an accoutrement of the young and upwardly mobile. I think that's why the older Roger immediately jumped to the notion that they should be listening to Duran Duran.
that is pretty much the only thing that i learned in this movie, is that Duran Duran is good coke music.
