since i saw the trailer i really want to see the movie, and i have looked in internet if there's something about or related with the movie but i haven't find too much, so do anyone know when is this coming out?

I just saw the film at the opening of the Cape Winelands Film Festival in Stellenbosch, South Africa. It was billed as the film's world premier. So, hopefully, it won't be too long now before it's released widely.

It was great. A very poignant coming-of-age story: the boy has to make peace with having a most imperfect father. And, the depiction of how Apartheid twisted people's lives and relationships is very powerful - not at all heavy-handed.

Alas while selling very well in other territories you will never see the film after the festival in South Africa, as the local distributors are not interested

Unfortuneatly thats the movies...you will have to go elsewhere in Africa or try Europe or the US

Does somebody know when is it coming out in Europe. There wasn't an official premiere yet. Nothing about DVD release. I read good things about the movie, and I really want to see it. If you guys know something it'll be great. Thanks.

I email focus film who are behind some of the filming to the masterharold and the boys and they said its on sell in south africa currently and is distributed by shoreline entertainment, which is a american company.

because I live in the UK, I asked the release date for us and they said that they haven't found a UK distributer yet but are looking to release it in 2011. I've try emailing shoreline about sending a copy to me but its like talking to yourself on MSN. If it is released in SA then i going to see if my cousin or friends can get me a copy of it... hopeful
