Should I watch the 2nd one before I see this one?

I saw Butterfly Effect 1 and thought it was pretty awesome. I found out on this website that there is a part 2 and part 3. However, I heard part 2 sucked.. but do I need to watch part 2 before I watch part 3?

nope, you won't miss anything by leaving out the 2nd movie. I agree it was pretty bad and there's no connection between the two parts.
