boring yet charming

It is one of the most mundane movies I ever watched (style is very similar to Fruit Chan's handover trilogy films) but at the same time it charmed me. The inexperienced supporting cast and lack of any serious plot makes it very 'real'. At some points you might fall asleep, so don't watch it when fatigued. There's also times when you think the movie's going somewhere, but it never goes deeply into its story. It really succeeds in providing a sense of community in small HK towns like Tin Shui Wai.

HIGHLY recommended, definitely worth a watch!
