Queen Brighton Rock
There's a Queen song by the same name. Is it in the movie?
shareI doubt it; it would be out of place if it was. The new film is set in 1964 - the era of the Mods and Rockers and their Bank Holiday punch-ups. The Queen song opens the 1973 album Sheer Heart Attack, is a blistering hard-rock song with a brilliant Brian May extended solo through the middle. Great song, but it would have no place in this film.
"Do you want to go to the toilet, Albert?"
lyrically the song has nothing to do with the book either, it's just got the same name!
