One of the best anime series I've ever seen

This was AMAZING! The artistic style, the voice acting, the music, direction, storyline ... all phenomenal.

It's a shame that the entire manga series will never be adapted because the truncated story is really the only flaw.

Agreed with all points you made. Highly underrated. As far as I know, at the time the anime was released, the manganese was ongoing. There is a chance for the anime being resumed. But plenty of time has passed now.
