Why did Eve insist on shaving her head?

I liked the movie, but not that part of it. The other girls-even bully Chapin-were telling her NOT to do it. And after all, she did go through with her dare, but the guy wouldn't comply. Didn't make sense.

Because she's dumb. That was completely ridiculous. But then again, the whole movie was.

Most likely, they probably thought it would seem inspiring or something but it really sent a terrible message.

Really late reply, but,

I think it had to do with her dad. She said earlier in the movie how much her dad loved her hair. After she called him and he got mad at her, she insisted on shaving her head.

actually the head shaving stuff was the one thing i disliked in this would've been cooler if they shaved something else heh

Shave something else like what? Anything else you wouldn't see & most girls shave it anyway. (Talking about legs, armpits, & bikini area)

she went all britney spears after her dad told her not to call him...she wanted it and she enjoyed her hair getting cut off
