The bugged phone. Stupid part

Did anyone else think the part where Brad here's Doug bad-mouthing him around his fake drug buddies (over the bugged phone) was totally stupid and lame? I mean, give me a break, he'd KNOW that he was just playing the part and didn't mean any of that. I just thought it was a weak dramatic device to put in there.

The thing is Doug was getting way into the whole high school thing that he actually thought he could continue repeating high school as a cool kid.

He was mad at him and meant the mean things he said at the time.

The funniest part of this movie was when Brad pretended not to care about the *beep* Doug was saying about him

"I don't give a *beep*

[..] totally stupid and lame?

Yo, it looked like they had to bend the ENTIRE movie around "Doug Schmidt"; Brie Larson, man.. She had to do somersaults around him, to make each scene look like anything. Honestly thought how she might puke, throw up, at any second - every time they were shooting together.

I'm guessing IRL Jonah Hill may not be the biggest putz on the planet (highly doubtful, though, because he seems EXTREMELY lame), but acting.. In films.. IDK 'bout that; not so sure. xD

^^ It's not the movie.. Even this kind of a POS film - he can't ****ing make it; & that's pretty messed up. IMO Jonah doesn't do Jonah well.. It's like a mix - of a (whole) bunch of personas (or, personae; teh plural's funnier than the movie :)), but not including the *best* ones, like, Steve Martin and l8 John Candy. (The latter, probably thinks how he is; or, rather was from before the weight was gone, lolo)

Edit: :) :)

My cousins did this to my brother's phone to listen to our conversations

Pretty creepy

I get it. But they were pretending to be brothers and even at that point who makes fun of family?
