How is it that Schmidt was the only one considered outdated?

Sure, Schmidt was criticized for looking outdated when he bleached blond his hair to look like Eminem circa 2001 when the year was 2005, but Jenko looked like he straight up stepped out of 1985 with his long hair, Letterman jacket, high school Jock looking self and didn't get criticized. So damn weird that Jenko looked 20 years outdated and Schmidt only looked 4 years outdated yet Schmidt was the only one who was criticized for looking outdated.
