Still enjoy it and so underrated

It's not good and not great just a guilty pleasure of a fine movie of the young like thriller movies of such women and what they did.

Agreed. It's no worst than the great slashers of the 80's and I prefer this one over the remake. This is a fun thrill ride.

Saw it again yesterday. One of my favorite slashers because it's so damn entertaining. I think Sorority Row works because it's less horror and more of a dark comedy than the far more serious original. The dialogue and the behaviour of some of these characters are so OTT it's impossible to take it seriously. When Scream Queens appeared last year I imagined this movie was one of its main inspirations.

It's smart enough not to take itself seriously and in fact poke fun at its own ridiculousness. Slasher movies are absurd and nonsensical by nature; especially modern day slashers in the age of cell phones, wifi and social media, they simply aren't as plausible, not to imply most ever were. They just wanted to make a fun movie and they did. It's a damn good time and even the most unlikeable characters are likeable in a love-to-hate them sorta way. Not only is it possibly the best of the modern day remakes, it's simply a well-crafted, smartly-directed darkly comedic slasher and I love it for that.

This and My Super Psycho Sweet 16 would make a superb double feature.
