shareYep. And it would have nothing to do with her age. I've seen women in their 20's. 30's and 40's fall for men who have treated them great at first and then the true personality comes true. It is not just because of the physical/sexual attraction either, some men show their true colors from the start and women have this idea they will be the one to change his ways.

He was definitely easy to fall for it and I agree any age any type of person would fall for that. He was so convincing! I almost felt though that he really genuinely liked Mia and it was more than just adding her to his notch. He genuinely liked her whereas her mother was just easy sex he showed no interest or respect for her at all but she was a mess! The way he felt jealous of Mia and billy and then after they slept together he realised what he'd done and that he couldn't be with her. But I reckon when she got older had she not kidnaped his kid he would have left his wife for her cos he clearly couldn't stand his wife! I just wish Mia had been older because they had a great connection!

I think his character wasnt that two dimensional. I think there was complexity there. He wasnt just out hunting for a quick screw from Mia. Being the father of a daughter already, he definitely had a fathering instinct that she had never experienced before and felt attracted to. But not knowing any better and being a horny teenager this turned sexual for her when the genesis of it was really the vacuum of not having a father figure. And he found himself attracted to her, perhaps for the taboo, perhaps also because she had a strong need that he picked up on AS a father. He flirted and played around with her but when he screwed her I think he was shocked with what he had just done and the ramifications. For that reason I dont think that was his ultimate goal all along. As a guy I can relate to that. Every guy has been in situations where there is a girl he finds attractive but he knows actually SLEEPING with her would be a bad idea but that doesnt stop us from flirting or interacting or playing around that edge and then when things happen finding ourselves doing things we probably shouldnt do and then realizing that fact only after its done. Doesnt make us two dimensional scum bags just looking for ass and not caring how it hurts others. It makes us weak or flawed characters who follow urges and ignore reason.
shareWell, not at my age and not with my experience, but if I were her age probably yes. And to add to that she's from a broken home, her mom doesn't give her any positive relationship examples, she has no father figure who could help guide her etc. I'm from a full family and my parents always took an interest in my affairs, school etc and I still would've been rather easy prey for a guy like that at that age.

I don't think he was necessarily into younger girls but he was obviously a bit of a rat spending time with their mum whilst he was married.. If he wasn't interested in his wife, then he should have left her but he was trying to play happy families with both. I do think the thing with Mia was organic and not something he had planned.. I think he was caught up in the flirting and then ran when he realised it had gone too far (I am of that opinion rather than he left once he got what he wanted)... Having said that, he still broke the law and he's still a cheating rat

Yeah it can happen with anyone and no matter how old you are....But personally I would never believe that he actually is in love with me even at 15 years old, it was a obvious seduction and simple screw that meant nothing, I would never fall for that...but everyone's different.
