Mia was 15 or 17? Changed for different markets.

In film version I saw, Mia was 15, which seems to be what most agree with and the original release was.

However, I've seen some [professional] critic reviews where Mia was referenced as being 17 years old. Was Mia's age changed to 17 for certain markets? So as to not seem like such an egregious statutory rape between her and Connor?

I have no idea, but I could see how someone might think she was 17. The Female Dancers Wanted flyer clearly stated they were looking for girls 17 and older to audition, which she did. Plus Mia looked to be at least 17.

I only saw one scene mention her age was 15.
