Considering the Harper's Island survivors are..... controversial at the very least, I was curious who everyone here wanted to see make it.
I'd definitely spare Sully and Trish, and then probably Shane, Kelly, and JD as well. As much as I loved Cal/Chloe, they're death was too great to give up
It would have, but I think Abby/Jimmy/Shea/Madison was a lot more predictable. And Trish was at least likeable, while I didn't care about Jimmy/Abby and haaaaated the other two. What about Sully, considering he had the biggest character growth on the whole show? That death pissed me off so much. Lol
Really? I thought Trish was way better. Katie's a much better actress, and she was able to seem like a final girl-type without being boring/borderline Mary-Sueish (Henry holds a fake wedding with fake attendees and murders them all so.... He can date Abby? Including his dad, the man who he said "opened his eyes"? Yeahhhhh.... No. )
How about Sully? And can we both agree the utterly idiotic duo that was Shea/Madison deserved to die horribly, lol? I couldn't stand them
It was so cliche for Abby and Jimmy, the couple, to survive. They were both so boring. Don't even get me started on Shea and Madison (the most annoying little girl ever). I would have loved Trish and Sully as the survivors. I also would have saved Danny and JD. I agree with you about Cal and Chloe. Both were awesome characters, but their deaths were very well done.
I thought Sully and Danny would be an interesting, unconventional duo to make it to the end. Too unconventional for Jeff Bell, it turns out. Though at least they got close.
I also liked Cal and Chloe, but they were far too cloying and cute not to become tragic figures. Their death scene was underwhelming. I blame it on Wakefield being a totally boring and unimpressive villain.
I figured Abby was a given, though I wasn't sure about her love interest whose name I've forgotten. I had a feeling Trish was being set up for a late-game stabbing, so it wasn't a surprise to see her go. Honestly, I really expected Henry to stab her during their "moment" in the house before the big reveal. When it came later in the woods it felt obvious. I had Henry pegged for a heroic death in the second-to-last episode way back at the start of the series. But at the rate people were dropping, there weren't many choices left for the secret accomplice by this point and when it turned out to be him it wasn't exactly shocking. More just disappointing that one of the only people who ever got anything done was ALSO just a villain with plot armor on.

If they developed Danny some more, I could be down for that
