Question

I've heard great things about this show, though there was only 1 season.

My question is: is the ending wrapped up, or do they leave it on a cliffhanger?

I want to watch it, but not if it is going to leave me hanging, unsatisfied. This may have been asked before, but I did not want to look through the boards, at the risk of spoilers.

There is no cliffhanger. Everything is resolved by the end of the final episode. It was advertised as a 13 episode mini-series event, and thankfully they stayed true to that promise, unlike many shows which promise as such but then have a last second bait to hopefully get a second season.

Not the case with Harper's Island, though. By the end of episode 13, there are no loose ends or unanswered questions, and certainly no cliffhangers. It is a self-contained, complete story.

Great! Thanks so much for the response.

I think I will check it out soon!

Did you like it?

It was one of my all-time favorite TV shows, to be honest, and the fact that it completed the story 100% in 13 episodes was one of the main reasons why. The writers had a plan all along - something I wish the writers of Lost also had!
