'Is that a true story?'

I couldn't help but sigh when Adrian Grenier was telling Paris Hilton about the Greek myth of Narcissus. Paris responds with, "Is that a true story?"

reply

Yes, that was certainly a highlight. Paris Hilton, the very definition of narcissism does not know what the word means.

Grenier was very nice to her. I would have laughed in her face.

reply

Hahah yeah I remember that.

just sayin.

reply

Make her say something. anything - relax and enjoy.
Priceless.

you know intelligent and knowledgeable are two different things, when she was talking about her relationship with the paparazzos i think she came across as pretty smart, she knew why she was famous and that she could use it. Still pretty funny how clueless she was about cultural things.

reply

If someone has a clip of that part PLEASE put it on youtube!!!

reply

That was awesome. And he responded with, "Well, some people have probably drowned in their own narcissism."

reply

It's like that blissful ignorance sort of thing that makes Paris so...you can't be angry with her, and you can't roll your eyes with her either, because it seems so innocent. All you can do is really hug her and say, "Oh, you."

reply

That was pretty funny. I bet she was just trying to think of something to say. I get the feeling that throughout she wasn't sure if she was being made fun of or not - wan't sure if Adrian was really just setting her up for the press.

"I'll book you. I'll book you on something. I'll find something in the book to book you on."

Of course, there are smart people that aren't knowledgable or educated, but when you grow up a millionaire heiress who probably attended the best private schools in America and you don't know the myth of Narcissus or the origin of the word. .?!

I'd almost think she was pretending to be such a dumbass, but this is the same rocket scientist who said she isn't going show her breasts in the movie because she doesn't want to give people the "money shot". Well, speaking of "money shots" anybody with an internet connection has been able for the last ten years to see this moron getting graphically *beep* for forty odd minutes. And if you have witnessed her "acting" and "singing", she OUGHT to do it entirely in the nude, but it still wouldn't mitigate the sheer awfulness.

What a waste of skin. If that's who young people today aspire to be, we're all as *beep* as she was in her sex tape.

I couldn't help sighing when Adrian Grenier, at the end, was saying something about: "Are you ready to have the cameras off for once and just let's be friends" to the kid (or something along those lines) but just before they turned off the cameras hes eyes widened and you could see him choking up with the thought 'Wait! I've just realized what I said. It's a catch 22, and I'm a camera-faker too. Please!...the reality is, I really don't want to be friends with this spoiled brat' passing through his mind.
