The basis of the movie is rape (statutory).

The film begins with statutory rape at the very least, and possible pedophilia. Just a terrible idea. I can't believe this movie even got green lit. If you think I'm overreacting, just imagine the teacher was a man and the student a teenage girl... NOW you get the picture.

I do, but everybody else will try to justify it.

Pedophelia yes, rape no

Nice

"just imagine if it was a man..."

Like a broken record with that sentence. A lot of Daddys Boy is satire on that very social concept.

Just imagine if GI Jane was about a man, just imagine if Robert Downey Jrs character in Tropic Thunder was black, just imagine if Dr Doolittle was played by a koala bear... NOW you get the picture.

I don't think it's rape. But she was a pedo.

Pedophiles are, in most jurisdictions of law, are applied to children who are prepubescent. Hebephilia are typically children who are pubescent between 11-14. In the film the character Donny, as a teenager, is 15 years old. She would be considered an Ephebophilia. An adult who is sexually attracted to those 15-19 years old.

Anything below the age of consent is considered statutory rape.
