Pedophilia and incest ARE NOT FUNNY!

I never saw this, and I never will.

If I saw this in the theatre, I would have walked out 4 minutes in.

Fair dues, each to his own etc....
Do you post something like this for every film you refuse to see?

reply

The movie knows what it's doing with these subjects. And if you're taking any of it seriously...you're CRAZY.

reply

It's just a comedy. They're not supporting pedophilia and incest, they're just making some jokes about them.

reply

Comedy? I thought a comedy was supposed to be funny. I must have missed something. Maybe I need to watch it again...NOT!!!

"Don't "yeah,yeah" me, Lois."

reply

coming from a family guy fan? that's funny in itself...

reply

Shut up, douchebag.

reply

It's what made me really liked the movie for some reason. I mean seriously I did NOT see that twist coming.

I thought about it for a split second when Brie was on top of Chad in the bed but we couldn't see his face. But I thought, "nah, they wouldn't have the balls to do that!!. Sandler has to have some class left, right?" Apparently not.

neither is violence.... yet the three stooges made it laughable.

Thread ender.

What's your point? They weren't funny either.

reply

Overall the movie is hilarious. I didn't mind the teacher/student relationship so much. It's been in the news a lot and it has comic value. But the incest scene made me downgrade the film several points in my rating. That was a real turn-off. I know they are only actors and all but when you put that seed in an audience's head, it's kind of hard to ignore. Very tasteless.

Then you have no reason to judge. By the way, what are you doing on this board then? Just to let everyone know how much you don't care?

… classic.

reply

Agreed!! If that we're a male teacher and a female student it wouldn't make it past the editing room!!!

Remember the R.Kelly joke in the Boondocks? STFU

reply

Of course. But then men and women are very different. So, the double standard makes sense.
