'Screw you Mom'???????? HOW DISRESPECTFUL!

I know he felt the need to sound "cool" in front of one of the dumb chicks he's semi-dating, but he did not have to disrespect his mother like that. I didn't like that at all.

It's one thing to think it, but he should NEVER let something like that come out of his mouth, AND on national tv. She's taking the time to come on this show with him and that's how he repays her...shameful.

His mother is going to be so hurt when she sees that..in fact she's probably pretty pissed right now.

I'm talking about the guy who likes all of the bleach blonde women with big breasts.

About one minute into the episode, he was speaking to Meghan. I mean he just said it in passing but I thought it was rude...

Meghan asked him how he felt about the situation (b/c his mother doesn't like her) and he said "Screw you mom, [but] I like Meghan"

I don't blame the son. His mom is being demanding ...demanding - Pick who I SAY!! A person only deserves respect if they give respect. The mom's not listening to her son ...or Meagan.

I can't wait to see what mom tells her son when she finds out her precious Erica does MORE than Meagan. Didn't Erica say she does porn? If Erica doesn't wanna be judged for doing sleezy stuff... she should have picked a non-sleezy career in the first place.

And Esther sure is demanding to her son. She's been downright rude to Camilla. Esther's really no different than Mrs B...basically racist. Esther "uses" the holocaust story for her own benefit. She says she wants her son to marry someone like them... Jewish. Well what's the difference in her...and what Mrs B says.

Just like the one mom...that likes Erica...(can't think of her name). She wants Erica because she sees herself in Erica. She's all tickled because someone thought it was her daughter. Esther picked a girl that could technically be her daughter too. But I suppose that's what most moms want for their sons... someone just like mom.

It's weird that Mrs B has problems with Mindy...WHY? She's so sweet and a kindergarten teacher! Plus I thought JoJo's mom wanted him to fall for a blonde. I can't believe Mrs B's "competeing" with Mindy... lol

Mrs. B is more nutty than racist. Yes, race is one of her obstacles to JoJo, but it sure isn't the only one. She doesn't like Mindy bec. of her BREASTS for pete's sake. lol.

As for Michael, I thought it was extremely two-faced of him. He was speaking to the girl like he thought he was alone, and his entire demeanor changed-which suggested that this was the 'real' Michael. To be honest, Ive wondered what the girls see in him.
As for his Mom, she likes Erica and I cont blame her, because compared to Michael's other choices its easy to see Erica as heaven sent.
The only problem is, I'm sick of Erica talking about dropping her 'bomb'. It's been weeks now, the other girls have been honest-even when it cost them.

As for Esther, I understand both she & anyone else wanting their child to be with someone of the same background, especially when it comes to faith. But With Esther, its clear that its not about faith as much as it is about race. Eventually they have to make the choice of which is more important-what they want or accepting their child's life.

Ohh Please...

Erica is not "in porn" She is the Penthouse Pet of the Year. I'm Sorry but posing or appearing nude does not make you "in porn". If that qualified as "porn" than Kim Basinger, Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry more than qualify for that also.

I would understand reservations on someone seeing my girl nude, but look at her AND she seems to be a genuine sweetheart. If I loved her for her it would not bother me.

I'm not sure who you're scolding...I clearly asked - didn't Erica say she DID porn. You didn't answer my question. So ...did she say that? I ask because I thought I heard her say that... although I could be mistaken...so that's why I ASKED.

If I thought posing nude was the same as porn...I wouldn't have basically been defending Meagan. But there is a difference in a one time thing...and making a career of it. The actresses you list don't do nudies as a career.

So... if there's nothing for Erica to be "ashamed" of...why not be truthful and up front. Maybe there's nothing wrong with posing nude...but she's a "liar" because she's Not being truthful...and that IS wrong.

I guess maybe Michael didn't like Meagan as much as he led her to believe...or he wouldn't have allowed his mom to send her away. I know he says he likes the doctor... but they don't seem to have as much of a connection. She's cute and sweet...and no nude shots. With the medical background...she and him would make a good match.

Michael does seem a bit more shallow than the other 2 guys. I don't know if it'll work out for them and their girls...but they do seem sincerely in like.

I think Erica has done more than just pose nude..she's done some videos..which Im assuming is soft core porn.
To me, there is a difference between appearing nude in an artistic medium and appearing nude specifically to arouse men to sexual fulfillment. When that becomes your JOB, you're in the sex trade whether you do it for playboy or whatever. But everyone's different, Lorraine's views don't have to be yours.

I understand what you're saying that the character she's shown shouldn't be discounted, but at the same time if that's something she enjoys as a career option then that's going to be at odds with how some people live.

Sorry I do not believe that many men get their "sexual fufillment" by staring at penthouse. Maybe in years before the Billion dollar pornography delivery system known as the internet that is the case. Now anyone with a computer can access stuff thats illegal in some states.

I really feel sorry for Lorrain...because she really trusted erica and was really rooting for her... hoping Erica would be part of their family. It stinks that Erica ...who sees nothing wrong with what she does for a living... but doesn't want to be judged by it...couldn't have come foward before now to be honest with Lorrain and Michael... and tell them she's on the internet... doing sleezy stuff...

Umm - actually she DOES seem to see something wrong with what she has done. She seems downright ashamed and is upset that 'her past' could interfere with her having a real and meaningful relationship with Michael! She isn't at all like Meagen who is very "Whatever - people walk around naked all the time - you might as well get paid for it". Erica seems very ashamed because she knows that it could cost her a relationship with this guy that she is really starting to fall for.

Yes.. Really. If your going to make that distinction and lump everyone that poses nude in playboy and penthouse and say they are in the sex trade, then every actress who has been nude in main stream movies and to a greater extent had simulated sex on screen are a part of the sex trade. If your going to make the argument that actresses get nude and have simulated sex for its artistic merit, then you have to give the same benefit of the doubt to the models who pose nude. I know its not the same thing, but would his mother feel the same way if he was going to date Angelina Jolie or Halle Berry? No, but they have both had lurid simulated naked sex on screen that a HELL of a lot more people have seen than a Playboy or Penthouse issue.

Yes Values let us examine that. the kids mother automatically excluded any woman with certain endowments and blonde hair without giving any of them a chance. Thats prejudice. Excluding anyone based on what they look like is the definition of prejudice. All 3 mothers on the show are guilty of prejudice and ignorance. While one is more overt and out there, the other two are the ones that cause more problems than the ones who just say what they are thinking. the other two will make comments and resent people secretly and create more problems and resentment in the long run.

After seeing the way the mothers reacted to finding out some of the girls were nude models I do not blame Erica for waiting until Mike and his mom got to know the kind of person she is before she told them she was a nude model. Just because someone poses nude does not mean they are "in the sex trade" Mike will still have a choice over whether to pick her or not and just because he does select her does not mean they are going to end up married. Its a TV show and I would be willing to bet that none of the couples that leave the show will wind up together in the long run.

To make a long story short-you can decide to think anybody who appears nude is doing porn, artistic merit or not. However, since the entire POINT of playboy/penthouse is to portray nude women in titillating poses for fantasy/sexual arousal, then it is instantly a part of the sex industry to me. If you then decide to group Cosmpolitan as part of the sex industry for that same reason, then fine you can make a reasonable case...and that would be your PERSONAL value system.
I have no problem if YOU or Lorraine view Halle Berry or Angelina Jolie as part of the sex industry, and to be quite honest perhaps Lorraine WOULDN'T be that happy about her son dating either of them, especially Berry the way this show is going.

As far as prejudice goes, If Lorraine does not want a vacuous Playmate type to foster her son's shallow behavior, that is her viewpoint. However, since Erica doesn't fit the vacuous tag, but has the past experience of being in the sex industry (and yes, she IS because of the soft core porn VIDEOS), Perhaps the personality she's shown will be a mitigating factor against Lorraine's objection of making a living with your nude body. Good for her if she is able to see past Erica's job & remember that she's still the same sweet girl.

HOWEVER, if one person's values are against making a profit from your nude body, while the other person sees nothing wrong with making a living by masturbating on film..then that is an OBVIOUS conflict. You can call that prejudice, but everyone has things that are important to them.

Ok then that is your opinion. Where does FHM, Maxim, Egotastic, Mr Skin, and HOllywood Tuna fall. Are THEY all in the sex trade? FHM and Maxim pose women in sexually provocative poses but they have a stitch of clothing. Is THAT the sex trade? What about someone who has had nude pictures of themselves posted without thier knowledge.. are THEY in the sex trade?

All i am saying is to paint everyone under the same negative brush is taking things to far.

I have not stated MY opinion on the matter because quite frankly I am not on the show and my opinion doesn't matter. If Erica has in fact done soft core porn videos, then that inches her closer to the "sex trade" label that you seem so willing to slap on people.

Anyways, this show will be over Monday and so will the association of any of these people. They are there to be on TV and nothing more. There, I stated an opinion.
