In other words, you can't convert and become Jewish
Why on EARTH are you making matter-of-fact statements as if what you say is a fact?
Sorry to use caps lock, but it annoys me when people spread misinformation as if it were fact. After all, you ]
absolutely can convert to Judaism, and people do all the time. The thing is, however, that it is really difficult, certainly not like converting to Christianity or Islam, and if you convert you will all of a sudden have people prejudiced against you, and who wants that?
Please don't make any other comments as if they are fact if you don't know what you are talking about. What you should have said is "I think...", because what you said is 100% wrong... Except for the fact that anyone born to a Jewish mother is Jewish - that is true, but it makes no difference whether that Jewish mother was born Jewish or converted to Judaism before having the child (though there is a problem with Orthodox Rabbis not accepting people who converted with non-Orthodox rabbis, but that's another matter entirely).
Cheers :)
