Kinda mean

I'm all for being Un P.C. But for me a hidden camera show is fun when you're making someone do something stupid, but some of the things they did on the show weren't funny, they were mean spirited. Like the guy going to the funeral as a singing telegram. I laughed at first, but then it got really messed up. And to add insult to injury, they scare the crap out of the guy by making the dead guy move. And the one where they have the guy watch his wife make out with another guy. And the really messed up one was where the wife did the makeover show. Her husband was like "what the f...?" It almost looked like he was going to cry. Like Punk'd was funny cause even when they went out there, it was still funny cause it never got too mean. They always made it pretty over the top, so it was funny. Did anyone else this the show was a little too mean?

It was tasteless. Over the top, and nothing like Punk'd, atleast that show was funny and they never let it get out of hand.

yeah, grabbing women off the street for "interviews" only to tell them they look like hookers isn't funny. its mean. i wasn't surprised when those women got pissed, and then howie insulted them even more, by implying they themselves were the ones who had no class because they got mad at him.

I'd rather see Candid Camera reruns. Only a couple were funny, like the thumb waiter. Mean spirited and when people get hurt is not funny. I liked Howie as a stand up comedian when he first appeared on t.v. but this show isn't like that. The show would do better if it were a few comedians getting together and doing stuff. There's alot of dead air time when going to commercial too.

Agreed. The reason P'unkd and other hidden camera shows work is because nothing really serious happens to the prankee - whatever the situation it always turns out to be faked. In this show - the person being pranked is still having really awful things happened to them, such as they are still sprayed with cat pee or their wife has still made out with a strange man. This stuff isn't funny, it's just plain mean. The cavalier reactions of the people being pranked leads me to believe that this show is largely faked.
