I enjoyed this movie until the scene where he lost the bet and had to suck off his friend, the film treated it so immaturely, the type of humor you find funny maybe in 5th grade being grossed out over sexual remarks and cooties. The biggest problem I have with modern comedies is their heavy reliance on gay jokes, as if blowing another man is the worst thing in the world. What does that say about women that have to blow men? Is it really that degrading of an act? I've seen characters in films have to eat actual crap and have the scene treated with less disgust than the context the BJ scene in this movie was..

Well isn't the joke that once in a committed relationship we only do it on birthdays. No one wants to suck a dick.

I do agree with you that movies do play the male homosexualty as the worst thing in the world. But don't you also think that as a staight male, having to suck you best friends penis as horrible.

It's over the top in the 80s kind of way. If you watch some 80s comedy flicks, they make a lot of inappropriate jokes. Some of them are so over the top and under the belt like when they take light of rape in films like 16 Candles or racist remarks/stereotypes in the same film. Even the antagonists are over the top loonies like Sebastian Stan in this film.

For a straight guy it would suck, especially if you had to do a long time, friend. Plus, we don't have to be comfortable with guys sucking off guys, we just have to accept them.
