Because they actually go through with the *beep* orgy.
I was so sure they wouldn't, I was so sure they would go with the old "true love" *beep* In the end, no one had to grow up, no one had to confess to anything.
It felt like a breath of fresh air that the blonde didn't walk in on them or anything.
It was just a couple of friends having an orgy, no moral, no holier than though life lessons, just a bunch of people enjoying their time here on earth. Somehow, it was more realistic than 90% of the romantic comedies out there.

i dare say it deserved the 8 too for the actual LOLz i made throughout the movie

I gave it a 2 for the same reason. They actually went thought with the orgy. It's like having the cast of Friends having an orgy as their season finale or the cast of Lost. And no I don't consider myself a prude. I really enjoyed Horrible Bosses as well as Hall Pass. But at least there was a plot/point to those movies, not to mention actually funny.

Not knocking your score, but I could have lived without this movie.

I also gave it an 8... for several reasons:
- I had some genuine LOL moments in this movie
- The cast, rather good acting... and hey, the ladies were looking gooood!
- [SPOILER] - The reason you mentioned: they actually did the orgy!
- [SPOILER] - That the orgy didn't interfere with his possible-future-relationship with the pale white blonde girl... as in 9 out of the 10 cases they find out (about you having an orgy), and don't want to continue the relationship. :-)

whatever the O.P said, I CONCUR SIR! thats why i gave it an 8 too. fkn imdb rating almost prevented me from seeing this. this was better than hall pass by miles, and horrible bosses.

I with you man. I have not laughed that much or hard, watching a comedy, in years. As a matter of fact, I don't even remember the last time I did. There were few times when I think I actually teared because I was laughing so hard. The whole night of the orgy was the best comedy I think I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of comedies.

Yes it was raunchy, maybe even crude, but it was funny. I've seen rauchy comedies which actually made me take a step back and ask myself, "What did I just see? And was it funny?" But this movie, man, it just made me laugh. Kudos to the writer directors.

I know how to get lost in lust, not because you should but because you must.

I completely agree with you, OP. that's what made the movie for me too. not to mention that I had the same expectations as you, but was pleasantly surprised at the end. awesome movie.
