Part That Makes No Sense

Okay, something that didn't sit right with me when I watched it...

Remember when Ethan was driving and fell asleep behind the wheel and they crashed?

Well if you remember, the night before they spent the night at a rest stop. The next morning once they finally hit the road, Ethan says, among other things, that he "slept like a baby." This implies that he got a good sleep and so would not be tired.

Therefore, it makes virtually no sense that he fell asleep driving and crashed.

Pot can make you drowsy, too.

"I can tell you from personal experience that if you're driving for hours in silence while everyone around you is asleep, listening to the droning of the road and wheels and having nothing to do--you'd better believe you can get sleep sleepy relatively quickly"

Well my personal experience is, I drove across a US state, late at night, with my friend sleeping in shotgun, a few hours after a little Jane. Did I have to pull over? Na uh. ALL night brutha. We arrived in our hometowns a little after 6 AM. Still wasn't tired.

It's a comedy right? Guy says he had a good sleep, then falls asleep. Laffs all around, specially with slo mo rollover crash.

reply

Ethan said VERY clearly that he has a problem where he falls asleep unannounced. This is a condition called narcolepsy.
