Where you offended when RDJ hit the kid with his fist...???

i was like "WTF ??? am i supposed to laugh at that ??" i know the kid was a jerk but come on...he's like 70 Lbs....

Not offended per say, but it seemed to be in poor taste. Peter through the film seems to have issues controlling his temper. Makes me wonder what he'll do when his daughter misbehaves.

i thought the same when rdj and jamie foxx bounced ethan in the truck twice.

Naaa, to be honest we've all felt but hopefully repressed the urge to hit an obnoxious kid. This was a movie, it was just for entertainment.

I didnt offend me,why would it. it wasnt meant to be laugh out loud funny. it was suppose to show how much of a jerk he could be.

PS
RDJ DID NOT hit the kid.

I know Im nit picking but it just bugs me when people say the actor's name and not the character.
if RDJ hit the kid i would definitely be offended cause that would be real life. lol

I was more offended by how unfunny this movie was. A very poor remake of a Martin-Candy classic.

Always ask yourself :"What would Neil Patrick Harris do ?"

You're a *beep* moron if you think Due Date was trying to remake Planes, Trains & Automobiles

I know this is 2011 but it was similar, I mean anyone who can't see that has issues. However, what isn't similar these days?

I'd say you're more of a moron if you try to deny that it wasn't trying to ride on PT&A's coattails. It wasn't a "remake"; it was a plagiarizing "homage".

reply

Why would anyone be offended by that?

reply

Not at all. That kid had it coming!

The light that you could never see
it shines inside, you can't take that from me

"Offended"?? A person that gets offended by that will have a pretty trying life.

You have no idea how funny that scene was. There have been many times for me where i wanted to punch a kid for being so mean to me but as an adult you have to play it cool.
