Funniest thing youve heard coming out of or watching in a movie theater?

When I saw the first Alvin and the Chipmunks with my sister, there were a lot of little kids in the movie theater,(obviously) and when I came out, some little boy (it might have been a little girl, but I remember a little boy saying this) asked his parents "Can we watch it 3 more times?"

He said that pretty much right when we stepped out of the theater and it just made me laugh; its funnier if you just heard the kid. It kind of reminds me of that youtube video where that zombie kid is asked about something and he randomly says "I like turtles"....yeah, some kids say funny stuff..

Anyway...

What is the funniest thing you've heard coming out of a movie theater, or in the theater watching a movie?

This was during a movie, but when I while I was watching Coraline there was some small child who went "Mommy? Mommy?!" at some point when the Other Mother began to become more menacing. Those kids had to leave before the movie was over.

I remember walking out of Batman and Robin (yes, survived til the end) and I overheard some kids in front of me saying how great the movie was
Don't think I've heard anything funnier than that.

I was in Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and some 7 year old little girl in front of me started balling up in her seat when Shelob the spider monster came out. Then the whole theater heard her say in a rapidly escalating shriek, "Make it go away, Daddy, make-it-go-awaaaaaayyyyyy!"

I was trying so hard not to laugh because I felt bad for her but it was really funny and sort of precious too. (Her Dad covered her eyes and hugged her and she was fine for the rest of it.)

When I saw 'No Country for Old Men' it was me, my friend, and mostly middle aged black couples. At the end most of them decided to express their distaste for the ending of the movie.

When I was in high school, some friends and I went to see Scary Movie 3 in theaters. The theater was pretty empty and we went to go sit down. So, the movie started playing and a family with a bunch of little kids comes in. As the title comes up and the movie gets going, this little boy yells "THIS ISN'T BROTHER BEAR!!! YOU LIED TO ME!!!" lol I think that moment made the rest of that movie bearable...

"Why thank ye, Jack."
"...You're welcome."
"Oh, not you. We named the monkey Jack."

In the scene in the 1st lord of the rings when frodo is unbuttoning his shirt in front of bilbo and exposes the ring. When Bilbo flips out and goes to grab for it my friend let out a roaring laugh, that caused the whole theater to burst into laughter. hahahaha I still can't watch that scene without laughing

When I was at the opening of The Dark Knight in my town, you could tell that everyone was ridic excited. At the scene where Gordon's son is in bed and his mom is talking to him (I can't quite remember the scene, sorry for any inaccuracies.) The entire theatre was silent until some kid, at that point in the movie decided to quote that youtube video with the kid and say "I like turtles". Immediately after that kid said, like a second after, one of the kids sitting beside me yelled "Shut the *beep* up!". The theatre was in stitches.

I remember seeing a movie, ( Can't remember what the title was ) but the preview came on for spiderman 3. I said, " Oh man, I can't wait to see that!!" My friend said, " Do you want to know what I think about Spiderman?" He started straining and his face was bright red. Suddenly there was a squishy, sputtering fart. I remember the smell to be pungeant and raw. My friend screamed," Oh know, I crapped my pants" He ran out and missed the first 20 minutes of the movie because he was in the bathroom cleaning himself.

That's *beep* hilarious. When i saw toy story and toy story 2 in imax 3-d in october, in the opening scene mr. potato head says reach for the sky, and a little girl in front screamed and started crying.

Transformers 2- Alot of people kept complaining about the twins being racist. When I saw the movie in the theater, an African American couple was sitting in front of me. Out of all the people, they laughed the hardest at the twins. I laughed because I realized that I never met one black person who was actually offended by them.

Death Note (Limited release)- There were plenty of moments. Before L came in, I yelled "screaming fangirls in 3.. 2.. 1." Another was when Ryuk was searching for the cameras in Light's room. It showed him looking through the sealing, and someone said "Hey Light! Your mom's taking her bra off!"

New Moon- I didn't actually see it. I passed by on my way seeing Ninja Assasin. Now, I have nothing against Twilight, and I think the stories about the fangirls are BS. But, I did want to have some fun. I snuck in for a second, and yelled "EDWARD AND JACOB ARE PEDOPHILES!!!," and ran like hell.

Back in '07, I went to see One Missed Call with some friends. It didn't take long for us to realize that the movie was an absolute atrocity (and I still hold a playful vendetta against my friend who insisted we see it over I am Legend), but we sat through it anyway. Near the end of the movie when the caretaker's corpse comes to life and pins the main character to the ground, one of the many other bored audience members shouted "MAKE OUT!". It isn't really a funny story, but it was a hilarious moment.

Also, while I wasn't there personally, my girlfriend went to see Star Trek in the theatre over the Summer with her brothers. She has a bad habit of not muting her phone in movies or the like, so she kept her phone on. This particular phone was one her mother had given her and had "Yaketty Sax", AKA, the Benny Hill theme, as the ringtone. She apparently received a call during a tense argument between Kirk and Spock, and needless to say, it added a new level of depth to the scene.

When my friend and I saw "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen", some guy fell asleep during the movie and starting snoring loudly. The audience laughed when they heard him.

Then there was the time when I saw "I Am Legend", some woman in the theater yelled "Oh Sweet Jesus!" when something popped out. The audience laughed so hard.

This was a long time ago, my buddy and I went to see "Breakdown" with Kurt Russell. We're talking the 90's here. Anyway there was only like 10 of us in the theater, during the scene at the end when the main villain is laying below the bridge when the truck is about to crush him, some guy from the front of the theater yelled out "You F----D NOW, BABY! It was truly the most hilarious thing I have ever hear at the movies. My friend and I lost it and laughed for the rest of the movie, and it became one of our sayings for anytime something bad was about to happen. AH, good times...

wow. people must really hate you woot. when you go to the movies I mean.

Because he's obnoxious.

reply

Erm, Wooterminator I think you posted in the wrong discussion group. It was about funny things you've heard, not annoying sh#t you've yelled out trying to show off and proving what a d#ck you are

reply

^LOL! Nice, edd.

But I agree. Wooter, you were clearly just showing off and sound no older than an 14 year-old with a serious case of ADHD.

I went to go see X-2 with a lady friend, and she loves the X-Men movies (the first 2 at least anyway).

During the credits some loser in the row behind us was joking around and yelled "Ah! I have *beep* in my pants."
My friend immediately turned around and said "You'll end up with blood in your pants if you don't shut your *beep* mouth and watch the movie!"

me and my friend went to see deep impact a while back, and when the sad part happened my friend accidently farted, what was meant to be quite was extremely loud, and everybody looked at him in tears of laughter or awkwardness.

When I saw Blairwitch Project when it first came out, this black guy in front of me said after the movie was over "This gone be the get my money back project", that was funny. Just the way he said it.
