Well, my 3 year old son loved it.

...our local theatre had a march break special for this movie: 2 bucks a
ticket to get into a 1:50 pm show.

Took my 3 year old son to see it yesterday and he loved it. As the credits
started to roll he proclaimed "That was a great movie!"

I don't know if i just enjoyed how much HE was enjoying the movie, or what,
but i didn't find it to be anywhere near as bad as i thought i would..

I think you summed it up right there. It's a great movie... for 3 year olds.

Not to be judgmental, but...he's 3. At that age kids are entertained by anything (hence the existence of Barney).

I'm 28 and enjoyed it more than the first.
