This film intended for Lilo to poke fun of her real life?

Watching this movie, I can't help but think on many occasions that this was a movie designed to reflect her real life situation and to find some light hearted humour in all the stuff that's going on with her.

Her character in this movie is so like her in real life (or at least how she's portrayed by the media).
Her character does irresponsible things, makes alot of silly mistakes/bad choices, is involved in bad relationships, drinks and also slightly promiscuous.

It's like watching Lilo play a movie version of herself but thrown in a comical way.

Not sure if this was a PR attempt for her to get back some fan support or something.
I don't mind either way. But it was a definite observation that her onscreen char's personality reflects her real personality quite abit (or again how she's potrayed in real life).
