That would never Happen

I loved this movie I thought it was so funny. However one thing really annoyed me...what was with Nick? If someone pretended to be pregnant and did that to you like she did to him you would so not forgive them and take them back just like that........it just seemed a bit unrealstic!

I know what you’re saying but I don’t know if I totally agree. She wasn’t meaning to trick him, like some women have done, to make him think he was the father just to marry him, he just kinda got caught-up in it all, inadvertently. So, as taken as I was with Lindsay in this movie or should I say, her Character “Thea”, I would think twice before dumping her for that reason, especially after she said why she had done it and let's not forget that her feelings for Nick were real, they were never part of the lie. Maybe I’m among the minority of men that would try to understand and forgive her but I’m OK with that… : )

True, I doubt it would ever happen but this had a typical "Hollywood RomCom" ending. Most of them are completely predictable and unrealistic.

Speak for yourself!!! As for me, your attitude seems to be extremely shallow!!! As for myself, I'd make the effort to understand that whatever she did, she did to protect her family!

During the Holocaust, Jews pretended to be Christians in order to save their lives, so how is that so very different than Thea pretending to be pregnant in order to keep a roof over her sister's head?! True, the threat was of a much less greater degree, but so was the extremity of the subterfuge!!

I will not equivocate; I will not excuse; I will not retreat a single inch; AND I WILL BE HEARD!

Also you need to show your boss a certificate of pregnancy at 28 weeks that a doctor could only provide!
