12 Monkeys + Strange Days

Also playing a part in time travel? Considering both movies had not been released in the summer of 95.

I guess I'll cut my losses, and turn my tricks at the magic show..

Hahaha, you're right! Good call. I wasn't sure anything could have made it worse, and then you found another plot hole. Someone probably said, "Quick! Give me 2 sci-fi movies that came out in '95!"

"12 Monkeys" wasn't released in most US theaters until '96.

Not as big a plot hole as was featured prominently in Donnie Darko.

Prof. Monnitoff refers to the then-current 1988 edition of "A Brief History In Time" by Stephen Hawking as he suggests wormholes as a method of time travel. However, the chapter on wormholes was not added to Hawking's book until the 10th anniversary edition released in 1998.

Where as in S Darko they only used those two films in order to make the anagram fit, not as the basis of explaining a massive plot element.

12 Monkeys also had to do with time travel.. i havent seen Strange Days but it probably does too

That's actually a good point you bring up. Both do relate to time travel..

The anagram still doesn't fit. They should have tried harder.

Good film choices, that's for sure.

🐺 Boycott movies that involve real animal violence (& their directors) 🐾
