Donnie Darko is my all-time favorite movie and this sequel sure does sound quite interesting.... Is it really that bad? It's not like it's going to ruin the original one or anything, right? Like yeah, Mean Girls 2 was a horrible sequel but it didn't really ruin the first one.. This can't be worse
shareNot nearly as bad as Mean Girls 2. It's rather competently made and would probably have a 5-something rating if it wasn't a DD sequel. It's mostly the writing that sucks; also, Daveigh Chase was horrible in it (other than looking pretty).

Isn't it even enjoyable in the slightest if I forget about the first one for 2 hours?
It doesn't bother to make sense and just sort of waddles along. I just watched it to satisfy my curiousity. Pretty bad though. I won't consider it part of it.
