There are quite a few matches which I would like to see in the next installment of the game if they do make one these matches have not yet come out on any of the previous games:

Belfast Brawl
Punjabi Prison Match
Last Ride Match
I don't really care for the matches in the next game, what needs to change is the entire graphics/gameplay engine of the series. The first 5 Smackdown games were cool, they started to get stale so they switched the brand name to Smackdown vs Raw, the first 5 games of THAT series was way better than the original Smackdown games, but after a while now it has also gotten stale. That's 10 games for them now, with this next one they need to go ahead and introduce a new engine, the Euphoria Engine that was used in GTAIV would be perfect for this game, along with DMM Tech as well. If you don't know what these are, look them up on Youtube, "Euphoria Engine Wrestling games" and "DMM Technology demo".But if they were to include new match types, I would love to see Punjabi, Stretcher, and Last Ride matches.An open mind leaves a chance for someone to drop a worthwhile thought in it
shareyea, I'm with you on the euphoria engine and have been hoping for that since the last 2 games. they should add in the weight factor in the euphoria engine too. I've always wanted to see a wrestler get caught on the ropes when they fall off the ladder or they are being suplexed towrds it. I hate seeing the same "sell" animation for every character how about making it unique. Those move slots in the caw are filled with like 13 clothesline that look the same but just has a different type of "sell" which is like a waste of space, but if they would add the engine, they would have to polish it so they don't get that loose ragdoll look. It would also be cool for diving moves where you control the inertia of your dive. I'm a fan of games where the same thing can't happen twice.

just came back from looking at the videos and I think the engine would work better with a TNA wrestling game. All the spots and moves are pretty TNAish, plus I think the designers of the game definitely need it to stand out and catch others attention, especially after their first game.

No Haitian, that preview with that engine is not what THQ WILL do with it for the WWE game, it's just showing you that wrestling games can be done with the Euphoria Engine that's all. You see people think that the engine won't be able to sell properly, or recreate a move properly because of the fact that they incorporate ragdoll effects in Euphoria, but thing is you wouldn't use ragdoll in wrestling though, you would incoporate a comprehensive motion-capturing and hand/computer animation technique along with the Euphoria Engine to balance it out evenly.This engine WILL be in the next game since THQ has already built a new engine with Euphoria in it with the UFC Unleashed 2009 video game that Yukes are creating. Now with the UFC game looking ULTRA realistic I can imagine what they will be able to accomplish with this engine for a WWE game. sharehell yea I've seen it, it looked so realistic that there was a point that I couldn't tell whether it was an actual fight or not. they did a good job with making it realistic. i've always wanted to see humans look as realistic as the cars in gran turismo and i think i found it. hopefully, THQ does work with that engine whenever they make their next wrestling game.

Of course they will Haitian, that's why they got the engine in the first place. It's also the reason they worked on the UFC game first, they didn't want to start off knowing NOTHING about the engine working on the Smackdown games, it could take up to 3 years to get that engine going. So instead they worked on THIS UFC game for 3 years to perfect the Euphoria engine for grapples and kicks and whatnot, I'm sure a lot of what is used in the UFC game will make an appearance in the WWE game.I'm not sure but I don't think that THQ are coming out with a WWE game this year either. JT, that's not the situation at all. Don't you think it's fair that THQ serves PS3 first? I mean first we get shafted out of the ENTIRE F-king GAME in 2006, then we get the game in 2007 and it's the worse one, we don't have many CAW layers, we don't have mic-support, we get slightly lesser graphics, and 360 STILL gets in-game music and custom soundtracks. So for 2009 they are catering to the PS3 first, then 360, it's fair because they have shafted the PS fans for 2 years in a row, the whole series started on the Playstation brand, do you really think that 360 has more sales than PS2 and PS3? Lol, the 360 version didn't even crack the top 20, PS2's version is selling the best followed by the PS3's version then 360's version of the game. Not to mention Sony took advertising from 360 completely, anytime you were watching Raw, Smackdown, or ECW how many times did you see in the commercial that it was for 360 as well? The only reason PS3 had to wait to get a game and xbox got it was because PS2 is still kicking and Xbox died so they had no choice but to make it for 360.
And no I dont think it's fair there serving PS3 first, I think it's total nonsense and all platforms should get it at the same time. What makes it even worse was they advetised it was going to be released on wwe.com of all freaking places for xbox in early January with PS3 to follow later and here we are nearly in Febuary and PS3 has there DLC and where still waiting and to top it off we get half the features and have to pay the exact same price. If thats the way THQ or Yukes or whoever wants to treat the xbox users then as far as I'm concerned they can shove there game where the sun dont shine.

Or have it so we can make our own matches (example: a Buried Alive match where we can set the casket on fire, or an Extreme Rules Hell in a Cell).
Iron Man matches that aren't just one-on-one. Like Tag Team Iron Man or Fatal 4 Way Iron Man.
I'd also like to see a season mode more like WWF No Mercy. Where you can choose what title you want to go for.
I haven't played a SvR since the 2006 one, can you go after other titles than the Heavy Weight title in the SvR games that have come after that one?
