Just saw the trailer.

I just had a peek at the trailer on Youtube, and based on what I saw I can't say I'm too impressed. It looks like a stock good-guys verse bad-aliens kind of flick, when I thought it might be based on the award wining RTS game that came that came out a few years back.

It would be interesting to know what else is in store for this film, but, unless I miss my guess, it's really just a focus group market flick that'll probably earn back its production cost when it hits DVD or direct DL.

Otherwise I'd skip it. There's better sci-fi out there, and this ain't it.

It's not based on the RTS, it is more subtle than a "marines vs aliens" but i'd say it's much less good than The Imposter (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0160399/), another scifi movie having the same themes.

Yeah, I saw "The Imposter", and where it was professional enough, the theme put into the story just didn't resonate with me.
