How is infidelity regarded in Korea?

I noticed the whole bloody chain of events in this movie was largely triggered by infidelity (amongst multiple parties). In America, it seems like infidelity is too common for it to result in murder anymore...I was wondering if it's regarded even more seriously in Korean society - or is "Yellow Sea" just a case of vengeful mob bosses looking to save face and such?

It's more of the character flaw. The mob leader is a hot tempered control freak.

Im pretty sure there are a lot of killings that are result of infidelity in the US... I have heard about a few, so I don't think the commonness or uncommonness of it would make much difference

Hi i'm korean.

In korea "criminal conversation" is crime.
Famous actress "Ok sori" is sentenced to 8 months in jail with a stay of execution for two years.
