So guns don't exist in this movie
Every one has hatchets and knives. No guns...why? The protagonist could have accomplished so much with a sniper rifle for the assasination.

I'm pretty sure there is really strict gun laws in Korea so access to guns isn't as easy as it is elsewhere? I assume most of the gangsters just use knives & so on as it's not as much hassle? I'm sure I've read somewhere that most Korean gangsters use a blade of some sort over a gun.. But maybe I'm way off.
shareYeah, and the movie would've been over in 5 minutes and you'll be complaining about that too.
shareAre you American? In America, it's really easy to get a gun. In other countries, not so much. Especially in Korea and China. A sniper rifle would probably cost more than they were getting paid for the hit.
shareAh ah those americans, always thinking the whole world takes the usa as a model for everything, hee hee.
shareBecause the movie takes place in Korea, not Compton.
shareAsian gangs use knives or hatchets b/c those weapons make lasting impression on their rivals. They are also easier to conceal than a rifle or shotgun. Handgun would have been nearly impossible to find in Korea unless you have some serious connection. South Korea has a serious gun law.
My life isn't any better than yours.
Meatbones>>>>guns
shareThis is a useless, moronic question. The film has no guns because it has no guns. That's the way they wanted it. Got it?

Yeah, why didn't this guy with no money in a foreign country where he doesn't know a single person just get a sniper rifle? WTF?
