Question about one of the final scenes (SPOILERS).

What was the Professor's Widow doing at the bank (the scene where GuNam enters the bank as sees her talking to a bank teller)?

Why is the scene so important?

Thanks.

reply

From my interpretation, I believe it showed the Professor's widow as playing a part in organising his death. Possibly due to the Professor's widow gaining a large inheritance after her husband's death.

I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not.

That was Gunam's wife. She was alive and have been making deposits.
It is assumed that the banker has been stealing the money. He also works as a contact for Mr. Myun.
Last scene shows his wife returning to China (getting off the train)

As for the reason behind contract killing: that guy with the glasses slept with Kim Tae Won (the boss)'s mistress - he mumbles this as he lay dying.

I just finished it And I'm pretty convinced it was the professors wife at the bank. It also made me think that she had a part to play in his death. I might be wrong too...
But the woman getting of the train was indeed the cabdrivers wife and she didn't look like the woman from the bank. I'll rewatch those scene later
Excuse my English, I am French-Canadian
