The horror genre

This is the kiss of death for a movie like this. It's not in any way a horror movie. It's a great thriller and I do mean great. There was zero exploitation, which for any rape-revenge film is hard to pull off. The acting, despite the frenetic pace, was sensational. I was blown away by how little they did to mask her pain, his ambivalence and while people could question certain aspects of the film, the resulting scenes made it cohesive. I adored the ending, something I assumed they'd drop the ball on.
