The Twist Was Unnecessary

So the BF was so distraught after his exhaustive search that he decides to take solace in one of the kidnapped girls?! The logical assumption from that is that he knew his GF was one of the kidnapped and just said Eff it I'll take this Katrina chick. Because clearly if he knew there was a horde of women being sold then he could logically assume his GF was one of them... or better still, actually find out where she was.

I saw no need to make the BF some sex slave addicted creep. It was like they neede to up the intensity and the wow! factor or they just needed another body.

I think he was the guy that finds the girls and filmed them, getting their stats (age/name) to take to the kidnappers. He tells eve ''it wasn't personal'' or in other words, it was just business. The twist wasn't that he left her for another kidnapped girl, the twist was that he'd been working for the kidnappers the whole time and he's how they found her (eve) in the first place. He only pretended to be get boyfriend to lure her to her fate.

Aaaaah. Then I retract my statement. Actually makes the movie slightly better.

I don't get posts like this. Like, how could you have watched the same movie and not gotten that?

Makes you wonder about the intelligence of your typical imdb user, doesn't it?

The twist is mainly the only redeeming element of the film.

Okay, that's unnecessarily rude. I also understood that Ronnie was the recruiter, but I can see why the OP made that assumption.
