*spoilers*: this film can be bad on your eyes

The ending of this movie was the worst: blinking lights, excessive camera shaking, scenes too dark, too many close-ups and longshots, and jittery flashbacks. All that stuff just revealed the director's incompetence and unprofessionalism. All that crap meant my eyes kept trying to focus and adjust themselves. After watching this film I spent 10+ minutes trying to rest my eyes: keeping them closed and rubbing them. I tried to watch this film a second time. But I turned it off after it got to the part in the police station where the goth boyfriend was killed. That part had all the camera-shaking, crappy lighting, blinking lights, and lack of focus. It is real bad on my eyes. It probably was bad on the eyes of other people. This is the only movie I've ever watched where I can say it was a physical strain on my eyes. Perkins' 14 is one of the few movies where I truly wish imdb had the option of giving a negative rating.

My sig: why do almost all movies on imdb have a "worst movie ever!" thread?
