Annoying trend in modern-day horrors

I'm saying this as an old school horror fan and not a fifteen-year-old or Mr. Skin, but it really annoys me this trend they seem to have in midern-day horror movies of actresses ALMOST getting naked, but not actually doing it. Horror films don't NEED gratuitous female nudity. It's like dessert with a meal--it never ruins the meal, but a good meal is still a good meal without it. This though is the equivalent of the waiter bringing the dessert tray by your table every five minutes and rubbing it under your nose even though you're well aware you're not going to have any.

Take the two cute girls in this movie. The lead takes a bath for no real reason in the typical unusually "soapy" movie bathwater. She falls asleep in the tub and has a nightmare. She wakes up with a start but somehow without sitting up out of the ridiculously murky bathwater. So why include this scene at all? Why have it take place in the tub? The other girl (who really owes the male audience full-frontal nudity to make up for her bad Southern accent) has a sex scene which IS essential to the plot. But she does it with the door open so the other girl can see her for some reason. Yet she wears her BRA during sex (yeah, that's normal). Next scene she is sleeping on her stomach and the bra has disappeared. Next scene she's awake and it's back. This is either horrible continuity or the actress obviously had a "no-nudity" clause. But then why not simply film the whole sex scene from the other side of a closed door. That's my point: either put ACTUAL nude scenes in your movie or DON'T put nude scenes in your movie. Don't just tease the male audience.
