It's over.

I'm not counting the two reviews he did this year. Those aren't AVGN eps.

He's just coasting now with James & Mike reviews.

They're not AVGN episodes? What is the requirement for an AVGN episode to be an AVGN episode exactly?

James and Mike is popular and they're easy to produce which means weekly content. He's doing more Board James and the occasional AVGN. I don't see what the problem is.

James and Mike Mondays are nothing like an avgn episode. They're sitting on a couch playing nes games. The only one I ever sat through was the Dr jekyll one because it was funny to watch them die repeatedly. Mike tries too hard to be funny (which he's not) I know James doesn't just wake up one morning and randomly shoots an episode. It is hard work. But with a thousand games and millions of followers, you'd think he'd churn out at least twice as much episodes.

Of course they're not like AVGN episodes. They're unscripted lets play's. My point was that it's popular content that requires nothing but turning the camera on and playing the games. . The appeal is not only the gameplay but the banter between best friends which is often fun because they reference so much retro stuff in their conversations just off the cuff, it's really entertaining.

You also have to take into account that he's a father now with a child that has medical problems so keeping a schedule like he used to where he would sometimes spend an insane amount of hours on a single episode is most likely not possible anymore. But hey who cares about life priorities right? He needs to drop everything and please the people who only care about getting episodes on a regular basis regardless.

Right, well you have fun in fantasy land, where facts aren't facts if you're a whiny little bitch.

I concur, me from 6 months ago. The episodes that have come since then haven't been all timers, but I've enjoyed them just the same, and he doesn't seem to just be going through the motions as much as he may have been in the past couple of years.
