why all the anti-matei hate?

what did mike matei commit to make people so hate fulfilled?? some people protest about him being apparently gay or kissing james rolfe's a$$. I blame the archfiend for creating these personalities.

so what if hes gay or not, perhaps you should get out of your gay-hating days when people like Oscar wilde days were imprisoned/executed people just for their sexual preference.

so what if he kisses james rolfes butt?? he needs to make a living too!! and to save you some time with "perhaps he should get a real job" how do you know he doesn't already?? its not as if most working peeps don't already kiss the backside of their bosses. they do!!

matei is receiving unfair backlash much like Justin bieber, ring any bells anyone?? someone claimed to have permanently defaced music forever. LOL! good one, the beatles were never going to regenerate. the times move on. and when bieber retired idiots were all "I knew he was bad rubbish" waiting for him to screw up, those people are the same ones hating on matei.

self-proclaimed haters all round. you guise never cease to amaze.

Mike if youre reading this I respect you for having to tolerate all this uncalled for hate.

It's mostly because Mike started doing videos of his own and many people wanted AVGN and only AVGN content. It was made worse when James cut back his episodes to a month and went to film the movie leaving Mike to create most of the new content himself.

People don't realise Mike is responsible for AVGN becoming famous. It was him who pushed James to do more episodes and uploaded them on youtube. They just saw this guy getting in the way of more AVGN content. They don't care about anything else.

I know, it is sad that James' fans are so one dimensional. Also, Mike is not gay, he posted a photograph of himself and his girlfriend at Disney World a few days ago on Twitter. Even if he is, so what? What two grown, consenting adults do in their own home regardless of their sexual preference is their own damn business. Just do not rape women or molest children and everything is okay.

My biggest complaint with Mike is that he usually is just flatout unfunny, and sometimes, his humor is some of the worst of all time. His review for Pinnochio's Revenge is has some truly awful jokes, like:

"In this scene, Pinnochio flies over the fence and lands on a rake. It would've been funnier if the rake was standing up and it went up Pinnochio's ass." *cue crappy MSPaint picture of Pinnochio making an "O" face*

HUR HUR HUR so funny. Here's another horrible joke, this one coming from his The Dungeonmaster review:

"Cop: Who are you supposed to be dressed up as? Heheh, where's Gumpy?
Mike (as MSPaint Gumpy): I'm at home, f#*@ing your wife."

What?!? How is that even remotely funny? Even Chris Bores would be moaning in agony. But his worst offense is his review of Elmo In Grouchland. It has a few funny moments, but for the majority of the review, its just nine minutes of Mike spewing abysmal sex jokes that only 5th graders would find funny. Also, Elmo And Grouchland is way too easy to criticize. Of course its going to suck, its *beep* Elmo for Christ's sake.

I don't find him funny and seems to be like a punk. He ripped on a French dude and then made up with him? I don't understand why you care if some other channel is ripping you off. When he curses, it seems really fake like he's forcing himself to use curse words to sound funny. When James uses it, its funny but not with mike. He does good as a side characther like in the Batman episode. But I don't hate him personally or anything. Then how he blocked certain people of critzing him. If you going to be something, you have to take critism. I never heard anyone saying, that he kisses James Rolfe butt? And The *beep* Mike characther is lame in my opinion. He really doesn't seem the type or can act out as someone who curses all the time. His Elmo review was the worst i've ever seen. But I like him when he doesn't curses. He sounds much better.

From your topic, it would seem you are talking about why people hate "anti-matei" so much.

Shouldn't your topic be "why the matei-hate", OR "why the anti-matei-attitude", instead of "anti-matei hate"?

I mean, if you wonder why people hate anti-matei (whatever that is), then wouldn't you wonder why people like matei?

If so, then I can reply; I know, I have been wondering the same thing. Some people are just not meant to be in front of the camera. He is fine when he does the title cards - I think that's where he belongs. Out of his element, and all that.

But in case you meant to wonder why anyone would hate matei, I must wonder about what barrel you live in. Matei is almost like a living stereotype of "annoying". I almost expect his picture on the wiktionary page of the word "annoying". Just watch his "Lion" act in the Alice episode for an answer to the question. If you think that's stellar, or even passable acting, you've got so many screws loose that you wouldn't understand the answer.

Furthermore, are you saying that people shouldn't, or can't have preferences? You can't like or hate someone based on your preferences as to what sort of individuals you like and what sort of people repulse you? You can't feel repulsion anymore?

Just HOW politically-correct do we have to be? Does our humanity have to be suffocated, or would it be better to let people have their preferences? (As crazy as some of them may be, like, for example, I have heard a rumor that there actually are people in existence that -like- matei! I can't understand it, but I wouldn't want to try to deny them their right to have likings/hatings of people/things/objects/food/nature/animals/galaxies/whatever)

nope I meant "hate" as in when people say "why all the *something* hate?". there is a lot of anti-matei hate comments. if that makes more sense.

I don't get it. He is just as important to Cinemassacre as James is. Plus, I usually enjoy their Mondays if it's a game I'm familiar with.

Mike's first videos were pretty bad, but nowadays his videos are much better, and I really like 'James & Mike mondays'. Mike still does get a lot of unnecessary hate though.

Mike just comes across as James' best mate, that's all I see.
