When are they going to film this movie? I've been hearing for a few years now that it was going to be done, but no word yet. The book is one of the best I've ever read & I can't wait for the movie. I know that Denver has now passed away, so I don't know if that has anything to do with the delay. Please, please make this movie!!

Life is worth living
So, I got news from a friend today about this movie. I had no idea what it was about, so I decided to check it out on IMDB. In Jackson, MS, there are offers to be paid extras in the move starting tomorrow at the Mississippi State Fair Grounds. Not sure the time, but I was told that any extras should be wearing funeral attire. That is all I know at the moment, and will update later if I find anything further out.

They completed filming a couple months ago. My husband was one of the homeless men at the shelter. He just got word that the release date is April 2016.
